1 min read

Living with persistent pain can feel overwhelming and isolating. Joletta’s story shows that while pain may not always disappear, it is possible to rebuild life around it.

Joletta was once a firefighter, strong, active, and independent. A work-related injury changed everything, leaving her with ongoing pain that dominated her life. Like many people, she sought help from multiple healthcare providers and tried numerous treatments: surgery, dry needling, massage, exercise, and more.

After years of struggle, she discovered a different path, one focused not on eliminating pain, but on finding ways to live well despite it. Through new strategies and support, she learned how to reclaim the parts of life that mattered most to her.
