Mid-West Metabolic Health Program
Background
Mid-West Metabolic Health is an active program that requires you to actively engage in the program. Our program is about creating long term lifestyle modifications such as healthy dietary changes, incorporating more physical activity into your life and changing unhealthy habits. This means that only you are going to be the one deciding what is important for you and what works for your lifestyle. Mid-West Metabolic Health is not a program where we just lecture or teach you about exercise, physical activity and nutritional facts. It attempts to apply healthy changes to your personal circumstances, tailoring the program to you and your needs. When you sign up, you will be provided with a personal workbook to work through. The program is designed to give you assistance, tools and strategies to make changes to your lifestyle.
Is the program right for you?
f you have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes (type 2), pre-diabetes, cardiological conditions or fatty liver disease then our program may provide the tools and skills you need to improve your metabolic health.

*This should always be done in consultation with your Doctor. In some cases medication is absolutely necessary.
What is involved?
You will be provided with your personal workbook to work through throughout the weeks. There will be a mix of online and in person sessions covering various topics listed below.
We would like this program to be interactive and it will be more beneficial if people share their opinions, knowledge and/or stories. However, this is not completely necessary, if you are a more private person we will not force you to talk.
